03/22/07 App launcher for mac
Installing yet another app to make it easier to launch the lots of apps I have now kinda defeats the purpose (heh). And if I added everything I regularly use to the dock, I’d need one of those 30 inch monitors. So instead, I did something very simple. I added my apps folder to the dock. Now all i have to do is right click on it and start typing the name of the app I want to quickly locate it.
Quicksilver may be faster, but if all you need is a launcher, and you don’t want to have yet one more thing running, this sounds like a good solution

“dream in color” is one of the best tracks off of strangelet… Chain lightning beats it a bit, but Chain Lightning might be one of the best songs ever recorded. :D
