I hated those screens to death and when apple announced those new ones I was shattered. but I have one now none the less a I didn't want to get away from the OS just now and I just had bought some mac software. at least for now it was mac for me. and I have to say in the regular office, home and even cafe conditions it is not an issue. the led screen is so light, you don't notice the gloss. I have to admit I haven't tried it outdoors yet, but as for me on outdoor shootings or so I would get a screenwrap or what they are called anyway. you should give it a try maybe. but if you are cool with windows. those dells are pretty nice and I was always in love with ASUS.
